Shipping policy

7. FOUR-TO-SEVEN-WEEK DELIVERY PERIOD

7.1. JGF AUTO LTD' standard estimated delivery period for a Vehicle is FOUR (4) TO SEVEN (7) WEEKS.

7.2. THE 4–7 WEEK DELIVERY PERIOD DOES NOT COMMENCE FROM THE DATE OF CLIENT PAYMENT.

7.3. The delivery period shall commence only after SHIPPING CONFIRMATION.

7.4. “Shipping Confirmation” means confirmation that the Vehicle has entered the applicable shipping process and that shipment has been confirmed by JGF AUTO LTD, its shipping partner, freight forwarder, shipping agent or other relevant logistics provider.

7.5. Accordingly:

PAYMENT DATE ≠ DELIVERY START DATE.

SHIPPING CONFIRMATION DATE = COMMENCEMENT OF 4–7 WEEK ESTIMATED DELIVERY PERIOD.

7.6. The period between payment and Shipping Confirmation shall not count toward the 4–7 week delivery estimate.

8. PRE-SHIPPING PERIOD

8.1. Before Shipping Confirmation, the Vehicle may be subject to:

a. supplier processing;
b. vehicle preparation;
c. payment confirmation;

n. other matters outside JGF AUTO LTD' reasonable control.

8.2. Any delay arising during this stage shall not constitute a breach merely because the 4–7 week delivery period has not yet commenced.

9. DELIVERY ESTIMATE IS NOT AN ABSOLUTE GUARANTEE

9.1. The 4–7 week period is an estimated shipping and delivery window.

9.2. JGF AUTO LTD shall use reasonable efforts to facilitate delivery within the estimated period.

9.3. However, delivery may extend beyond the estimated period where the delay results from circumstances outside JGF AUTO LTD' reasonable control.

9.4. Such circumstances include, without limitation:

a. vessel delays;
b. port congestion;
c. container delays;
d. vessel cancellation;
e. trans-shipment delays;
f. adverse weather;
g. strikes;
h. industrial action;

aa. unforeseen contingencies.

15.3. Such photographs and videos may also be used for JGF AUTO LTD' legitimate marketing and promotional activities subject to this Agreement.

16. FINAL DELIVERY

16.1. After the Vehicle has arrived in Nigeria, been cleared or become ready for delivery, JGF AUTO LTD shall endeavour to arrange delivery to the Client within seven (7) days.

16.2. This period may be extended where:

16.3. Where JGF AUTO LTD reasonably anticipates that delivery will take longer than seven days, the Client shall be informed.

17. HANDOVER AND CLIENT INSPECTION

17.1. The Client or an authorised representative shall inspect the Vehicle upon delivery.

17.2. Visible damage should be recorded at the point of handover.

17.3. The Client may be required to sign a Vehicle Delivery/Handover Note.

17.4. The Client's signature on the Handover Note shall constitute evidence of receipt of the Vehicle, subject to rights relating to latent defects or matters which could not reasonably be identified upon delivery.
